We're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Outside Sales Representative to join our fast-growing team.
Overview: As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our company through direct sales efforts. You will be responsible for identifying potential customers, building and maintaining relationships, and closing sales in your designated territory. This position requires a proactive and results-driven individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize potential customers within your assigned territory.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and other sales tactics.
Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:
- Present our products/services to potential customers, showcasing their benefits and advantages.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical information as needed.
Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Understand customer needs and requirements to tailor solutions accordingly.
Negotiation and Closing:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and quotas.
- Negotiate terms of sale and contracts with prospective customers.
- Close sales and achieve agreed-upon revenue targets.
Customer Service and Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers post-sale.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Provide feedback to management on market dynamics and customer needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales of sign and graphic supplies.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Technical aptitude to understand and present complex products or services.
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to succeed and exceed targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience.
- Business-minded.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within your assigned territory.
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed.
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales management tools is a plus.
