Sales Representative Job Description:
The Sales Representative is the key contact between Paradigm Brewing Company and our customers. This position is responsible for building customer relationships, growing the Paradigm brand within the designated sales territory and displaying a positive brand image in the market. This position will work directly with retail partners for market specific objectives including business development, increasing distribution within accounts and gaining new customers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Paradigm Brewing Company’s products and pricing structure.
· Meet and exceed company established sales goals.
· Identify opportunities in the market and execute against them. (Display execution, placing point of sale material, gaining increased visibility, and obtaining lead positioning on draft wall or cold box)
· Present and sell in new products with account level support to ensure proper sale through.
· Manage rotation and product sell through inside each account. Identify potential opportunities and develop plans to counteract any loss.
· Develop creative marketing events to generate consumer engagement.
· Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers as well as cultivate new relationships with prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business for Paradigm Brewing Company.
· Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business.
· Complete daily required reports.
· Schedule and execute events such as samplings, beer dinners, and craft beer educational presentations for customers and consumers.
· Communicate market conditions to immediate manager.
· Participate in evening or weekend special events as needed.
· Transport, place and maintain Point of Sale material as appropriate for accounts.
· Frequent lifting of 50+ pounds, includes bending, reaching, kneeling and light merchandising.
Qualifications:
· High School or GED required.
· Bachelor Degree preferred.
· 1+ year’s previous sales experience preferred.
· CPG industry experience is preferred.
· Ability to effectively manage multiple customer accounts.
· Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
· Effective planning and organization skills.
· Proficient computer application skills.
· Ability to generate and deliver sales presentations.
· Valid driver’s license required.
