Food & Beverage Manager position for a 96 Room Full-service hotel with restaurant, bar and 2,000 square feet of meeting space. This job reports directly to the General Manager. Focus on food and beverage operations to maximize the profitability of the hotel while maintaining guest satisfaction. CULINARY SKILLS REQUIRED. Oversee daily restaurant and client functions to ensure customer satisfaction, support sales efforts and communication both with clients and hotel staff.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIE
- Develops and manages all financial, employee engagement and guest satisfaction plans and actions for Food and Beverage department
- Assigns work tasks and activities, prepares schedules, and ensures that all shifts are covered. Maintains a positive cost management index for kitchen, banquets and restaurant operations.
- Manages all day-to-day operations. Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.
- Oversees all culinary, restaurant, beverage and room service operations.
- Develops and executes ongoing menu program for Catering, Restaurant and Bar
- Works with Catering Manager and Banquet Captain on execution of events, to include setup and food preparation
- Provides excellent customer service to all guests.
- Responds quickly and proactively to employee's concerns.
- Provides a learning atmosphere with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Provides proactive coaching and counseling to team members.
- Ensures and maintains the productivity level of employees.
- Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
4-5 years direct culinary and food & beverage related experience, (additional banquet experience preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of food & beverage operations required. Must speak fluent English.
