- Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, toasters, and sandwich presses efficiently and safely
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sandwich preparation area and kitchen space
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure prompt order preparation and delivery
- Assist in managing ingredient inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed
- Adhere to proper food handling protocols and sanitation guidelines
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to facilitate smooth kitchen operations
Skills:
- Proficient in sandwich making techniques with a passion for creating delectable sandwiches
- Knowledge of food safety practices, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Experience in a restaurant or food service setting is advantageous
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash registers, or Aloha POS is a plus
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
