WHAT YOU?LL DO
In this fast-paced position as Warehouse Receiver, you will have a diverse set of responsibilities that you will work with a team to complete. You must be self-motivated, dependable, and willing to create an overall great experience for our customers. You will focus on receiving and unloading various building material including but not limited to windows, doors, cabinets, interior molding, and stair parts for delivery and/or customer pick up.
THE NITTY GRITTY
The people things:

The Receiving things:
- Remain willing to have an open mind to change and improvements, in addition to providing ideas to improve efficiency
- Receiving, storing, and tracking incoming shipments of goods
- Receive vendors as they arrive and look over physical product for damage
- Inspecting, sorting, and storing shipments in the warehouse or stocking them on shelves
- Verifying inventory quantity and assisting in inventory level maintenance
- Maintaining complete paperwork
- Researching and resolving any receipt discrepancies
- Properly mark the BOL with notation by line item for what came in, what didn?t, confirming quantities, right product, and turn the shipper into the office
- Monitoring put away and profiling reports
- If product is missing, shipped wrong, or damaged you note the issue on the vendor paperwork on the exact line item of the product that has the issue, notify the vendor/carrier and notify the salesperson responsible for the purchase order of the issue that came in from the vendor shipment
- Increase willingness to improve and stay within standards
- Assist in cycle counting material in assigned locations weekly
- Ensuring merchandise is in good condition, accurately accounted for, and delivered to customers on time
- Maintain a clean, efficient work environment
- Utilize basic functions of WMS system; (including, but not limited to receive, put away, move, cycle inventory, select, and customer ship)
- Engage in other warehouse functions when receiving activity is completed or not in motion:
- Select customer will call orders
- Put away stock
- Replenish stock
- Process credit returns
- Cycle count inventory
- Organize bins, clean area, sort, set area in order, etc.
WHAT YOU NEED
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must pass background check and drug test
- Able to operate electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and complete basic math

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a warehouse setting, qualified candidates will be surrounded by and operating heavy equipment and machinery regularly.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is a largely labor-intensive role, and qualified candidates will be required to use their arms, hands, legs and back regularly. This role would also require the ability to lift, bend, walk and stand as necessary, as well lifting at least 75 - 100 lbs. consistently.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm with schedule flexibility. Some Saturday work will also be required during peak season (May - October).
