Key Responsibilities:
Voicemail and Email Management:
- Return all voicemails and emails received by 3 p.m. EST on the same day.
- Work directly with policyholders to address inquiries and prevent agent overload.
Claims and Group Claims Assistance:
- Assist policyholders in gathering required documentation for claims processing.
- Provide knowledgeable support and ensure claims are followed through to completion.
Pended Business Handling:
- Monitor and address pended applications daily.
- Make necessary corrections and ensure timely resolution to prevent delays.
At-Risk Accounts Management:
- Regularly review at-risk accounts and send friendly reminders for outstanding invoices.
- Help maintain positive client relationships and financial stability.
Policy Retention Support:
- Proactively contact policyholders when there are changes or employee turnover.
- Assist in retaining policies and ensuring continuous coverage.
Refund Letter Processing:
- Draft refund letters on agent’s letterhead, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Follow up on refunds to ensure completion and client satisfaction.
Task and Action Tracking:
- Utilize systems to track and manage tasks related to pended applications, claims, and refunds.
- Maintain detailed records to ensure all processes are completed efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or related fields preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and willingness to learn company-specific software.
