Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of food orders
- Assist in food preparation and plating when needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any customer concerns or inquiries
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of culinary terminology and basic food preparation techniques
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and kitchen staff
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to help out in other areas of the restaurant as needed, such as bussing tables or assisting with banquet events
