Behavior Technician/ABA Therapist

Job Summary: Spotlight Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician/ABA Therapist to provide 1:1 evidence-based interventions and skill-building techniques to young children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and/or speech delays. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with our Therapists, BCBAs, and Program Supervisors to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 evidenced based interventions and skill-building techniques to young children in a home, school, or community setting.
- Document outcome data on skill targets as well as behavioral data.
- Document case notes at the end of each session.
- Help with parent education as needed.
- Work with a team of Therapists, BCBAs and Program Supervisors to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Credentialed Registered Behavior Technician is preferred. Degree or coursework in Education, Psychology, or related field is preferred.
- Must have a valid California Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving record.
- Able to travel to multiple work sites and client homes; reliable transportation is required.
- Criminal background record clearance in accordance with applicable federal and state laws including the FCRA. Clearance must be maintained for employment.
- Cleared Tuberculosis Test.
Assets:
- Training and/or education related to working with Autism is preferred.
- Prior experience working with children preferred.
- Comfortable working in home, community, school, and clinic environments.
- Professional, positive attitude and appearance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Multi-lingual, (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese).
- CPR trained.

Education Requirements:
