Gurney's Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa is looking for an Overnight Front Desk Agent. This role is responsible for greeting and check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently, process all payments according to established hotel requirements, make recommendations, advise and sell rooms and related services, provide information to any guest or visitor inquiry and bid farewell to guests upon departure. This shift begins at 11:00pm and ends at 7:00am. This role will work autonomously throughout the shift and will be responsible for various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a friendly, welcoming and efficient service to all guests, in line with our vision and values on guest satisfaction
- Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key.
- Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
- Empowered to resolve customer complaints in an effective and courteous manner, providing or seeking solutions as quickly as possible.
- Assist in keeping the hotel reception area clean and tidy at all times
- Take on general office duties, including correspondence, emails, filing, and switchboard, to ensure the smooth running of the reception area.
- Prepare miscellaneous financial reports for communication amongst hotel leadership team.
- Act at all times in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel's policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
- Respond in courteous, professional and rapid manner in order to resolve all guest and associate concerns.
- Models the company's culture, vision, mission and core values at all times.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards as directed by management.

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
