Karpatia Trucks builds custom specialty vehicles such as food trucks and concession trailers.
Your goal is to do thorough intake calls with customers, review if proposals made on the basis of those calls align with what was discussed, and follow up on sent proposals.
We envisage this as a junior/medior role, where you'll mostly be helping set up appointments and helping ownership get the close/sale for the first 4-6 months, and then move on to independently closing.
95% of leads are warm, incoming leads - they found our website through Google or our products through Pinterest and Instagram - there is no cold calling.
There is an offsite/remote team that will assist you in preparing documentation - in turn, you will assist them in tailoring their writing and style to US and Canadian customers.
Important - the job is not actually onsite, the address shown is a noisy workshop that would be a terrible environment to put you behind a desk and do sales calls at, but you'll have to be there on occasion to show a customer or discuss details of a more complicated sales with the workshop.
F.e. if you arranged a lead to go visit the shop to take a look at a stock unit, you're expected to be there physically too to help close that.
The job is thus officially hybrid but will be 95% remote.
Requirements -
You don't need a college degree to sell food trucks (do you?!) nor is there anything super comparable, but it's not a product that has to be hard sold - it has to be advised, consulted on, and tailored to the individual customer. So we are mostly looking for;
- A true desire to listen and understand the customer and their needs
- The ability and will to 'learn the product' and understand the business
And a few nice to haves would be;
- having sold food trucks before or other specialty vehicles such as custom RVs and campers
- being digitally savvy with the Google suite of tools
- Prior experience with Pipedrive and Pandadoc
- Fluent US-English as your first language
