Currently, JY techs is developing new business in Phoenix and is a qualified supplier of TSMC az. JY Techs is committed to providing professional engineering services to semiconductor factories.
JY Techs provides the provision of engineering services for the clean room integration engineerings, the sales of precision ancillary equipment for the semiconductor industry, equipment parts manufacturing and repairs.
As a CONSTRUCTION SITE SUPERINTENDENT at JY techs in Phoenix, you will lead labors to work with our customers as a supervising level focused on engineering support or construction maintain for clean room. This role will require 30-70% time work in a clean room environment (depending on engineering schedule) and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
This is a “Working Superintendent position” and must be willing / able to be “Hands On”.
Responsibilities
- Work on-site to oversee and lead the entire construction process
- Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
- Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly and adhere to all internal protocols.
- Supervise staff and subcontractors and provide constructive feedback
- Pre-construction coordination, Pre-Construction meetings. Misc. front end work (ie. job site signs)
- Oversee the daily construction activities at work site, including scheduling of workers, delivery of equipment, materials, and coordinate field activities and keep management apprised of progress of the project daily
- Ensure that all jobs are constructed to contract, specification and detail
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Experience
- A minimum of four years related experience and/or training
- Bilingual communication skills in Chinese and English are preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in General Contractor or Commercial Construction as a Commercial Construction Superintendent, or an Assistant Superintendent, in the field.
- Having Experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent, or an Assistant Superintendent, in the field a plus
- A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings, as well as Construction Means, Methods and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to verify quality and accuracy of work performed
- Must be able to establish a good working relationship with many different individuals, including clients, PMs, subcontractors, and crew
- Must have a vehicle, a valid driver's license
Skills
- Quality Control, attention to detail, and high level of accuracy for all material installed
- Self-starter willing to take initiative
- Must work well under pressure, particularly when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays
Role within the Factory
- Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of working.
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Can we be more specific: Must be willing to lift up to 20 pounds and spend the majority of time on the floor or ladder working on engineering in the factory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
