Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in facilities maintenance.
Duties:
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on building systems including fixing leaky faucets, replacing light bulbs, and preparing surfaces for painting.
- Perform minor mechanical repairs such as air tool maintenance, hanging signs, and equipment upkeep.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and housekeeping within the facilities.
- Report any maintenance issues to the production manager promptly.
- Keep a detailed log of all repairs, completed work, and hours spent on equipment maintenance.
- Ensure proper functioning of air compressors, company tools, pumps, and paint system equipment.
- Monitor and maintain effective rodent control systems in warehouse and office areas.
- Conduct regular maintenance audits on a daily, monthly, quarterly, bi-yearly, and yearly basis.
- Fulfill any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication.
- Strong supervisory skills to lead maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and logic controllers.
- Experience in residential painting is a plus.
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with internal teams effectively.
The successful candidate should possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Having fall prevention training is an advantage. Experience in maintenance within an automotive environment or knowledge of hydraulics/plastics will be beneficial. Organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for this role.
