Overview:
We are seeking a XRAY TECH to join our medical team. As an X-ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians and healthcare professionals in diagnosing and treating patients. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, as ordered by physicians
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety protocols
- Review images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine the best course of action based on imaging results
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to protect patients and staff
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician
- Previous experience working as an X-ray Technician preferred
- Knowledge of radiology procedures and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for maintaining patient records
