POSITION TITLE: :Donated Goods Clerical Assistant

REPORTS TO: :Vice President of Donated Goods

The starting wage for this position is $21.00 per hour.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE JOB:: Provide administrative and clerical support to the Donated Goods Departments and perform administrative and/or clerical duties as determined by the Vice President of Donated Goods.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform general administrative and clerical services to the Donated Goods Departments to include but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain filing systems
- Schedule meetings as directed.
- Photocopying, printing, scanning
- Prepare mailings and packages for delivery
- Prepare Donated Goods supply and copy orders
- Complete PO’s and check requests
- Record and maintain meeting minutes
- Conduct research, analyze data, and draft reports
- Assist with state regulatory reporting as directed
- Track daily sales and production of each retail training center
- Track daily donations for each Goodwill Redwood Empire donation site
- Provide communication and support for all Donated Goods Departments, as directed
- Track daily Donated Goods reporting tools for accuracy. Partner with store management and accounting staff as needed to correct errors.
- Produce internal and external reports requested by the Vice President of Donated Goods
- Use budgetary tools to oversee and update budget information as directed
- Coordinate and monitor court referred volunteer program and assignments
- Conduct special assignments and prepare reports as needed
ANCILLARY FUNCTIONS: :
- Adhere to GIRE policies and procedures
- Conduct off property errands, as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Donated Goods
QUALIFICATIONS::
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- At least two years experience as an administrative assistant
- Highly organized, self-directed, and detail oriented
- Ability to use technology at intermediate skill level in Office suite including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Teams. Ability to use Zoom.
- Ability to accurately type at least 45 WPM
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
- Phone and administration skills/experience
- Ability to compile and analyze data; prioritize and problem solve

WORK ENVIRONMENT:: Clean, well-ventilated office space, overhead lighting, carpet, temperate climate, and constant exposure to moderate business office noise levels, such as office machines, conversations, and foot traffic
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:: Standing/sitting intermittently throughout day. Continuous and repetitive grasping and finger movements to answer phone and use computer. Limited bending/stooping. Visual and hearing skills required. Ability to lift up to and including 25 pounds.
