As an A/V Technician you will be responsible for the deployment and installation of low voltage components in customer buildings

Duties/Responsibilities :
- Prioritize documentation and customer sign offs
- Assist in handling, loading/unloading incoming/outgoing shipments, parts and materials maintained in field in accordance with proper handling for the contents
- Rigging/mounting of equipment, projectors, and displays in commercial settings
- Installation of structured cabling to include pulling, terminating and testing cat5e/6, video, RGB, HDMI, DVI and audio cables
- Installation of all AV equipment to include Speakers, microphones, cutout rings, faceplates, and conferencing cameras
- Configure the projector’s IP address, gateway, subnet, projector name, remote password, and web password; information will be provided. Record and provide to the College the mac address and serial number of each projector on provided excel spreadsheet
- Perform quality control inspection on finished product/projects

- Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Use of a personal vehicle to travel between job sites may be required
Education a n d Experience :
- Audio Visual Systems: 1 year (Preferred)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
