Position: Accounting Supervisor- Japanese Bilingual
Location: Forest Park, GA
Work Hours: 9am - 6pm *Hybrid Work (3 days at office, 2 days WFH) **May change in the future.
Salary Range: DOE

Responsibilities:
1.dentifies subordinates’ development needs and recommends/plans and/or arranges on-the-job, internal or external training.
- Demonstrates expertise, deepen knowledge, and performs assigned tasks in order to contribute to the goals established by the management.
2. ACCOUNTING COORDINATION・PAYROLL・ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT
Accounting Coordination- Recommends to management, major corporate economic strategies, objectives, and policies for company.
- Prepares, examines, or analyzes accounting records including AP/AR related documents, financial statements, comparison chart, cost of sales analysis chart, UPS performance report or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Prepares cash flow reports, identifies and evaluates variances.
- Handles monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting closing work.
- Maintains and supports cash management account and other bank accounts.
- Liaises with parties involved in transactions and assists with negotiations as needed.
- Prepares and maintains all tax documentation and related records that are in compliance with applicable US tax law.
- Deals with quarterly reviews as well as year-end Financial audit.
- Prepares and maintains annually/quarterly/monthly expense budget.
- Deals with internal audit related to collection.
- Handles filing and payment of state sales tax, property tax, and corporate tax, etc. by working with external tax accountant.
- Maintains current knowledge on relevant systems and accounting standards, including GAAP and IRS regulations.
- Prepares forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel and direct their work activities.
- Prepares and maintains the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.
- Payroll Administration
- Processes and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.
Computes wages and deductions and enter data into computers.- Compiles employee time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other records.
- Processes paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into the payroll system.
- Verifies attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.
- Records employee information to maintain and update payroll records.
- Keeps track of leave time, such as vacation, personal, and sick leave, for employees.
- Distributes and collect timecards each pay period.
- Keeps informed about changes in tax and deduction laws that apply to the payroll process.
- Prepares and balances period-end reports and reconciles issued payrolls to bank statements.
- Responsible for payroll related support for expatriate employees.
- Administration Support
- Creates, maintains, and enters information into databases.
- Operates office equipment, such as copiers, or phone systems and arranges for repairs when equipment malfunctions.
- Completes, verifies, and processes forms and documentation for administration of benefits such as retirement plan and unemployment and medical insurance.
- Maintains data and document of each employee and manages filing.
- Handles company-owned automobile for the maintenance, renewal procedures and other related issues.
3. OTHER
- Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
- Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Management.
- Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
- Reports all irregular issues and problems to Management for solution.
- Maintains good communication with Management, co-workers and outside contacts.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
- Supports co-workers and other departments when requested by Management.
Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Accounting related work for more than one (1) year preferred

English and Japanese: Business level (writing, speaking, reading)
