About the role*
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for inspecting and counting Finished Goods received from the production team, ensuring that company and client standards are met prior to releasing it to shipping.
What you'll do
- Inspect, test products and materials post manufacturing to ensure they meet company and customer standards.
- Document results and recommendations on inspection reports, batch sheets, and other documentation.
- Count the number of products tested or inspected.
- Count the number of finished products in totality.
- Weigh materials, products, containers, or samples to verify packaging weight.
- Comply with GMP and ISO 22716 standards.
- Place non-conforming products, materials, and/or equipment on hold and communicate to management, peers, and appropriate departments.
- Write non-conformance reports to document deficiencies and errors as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years Quality Experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and inspection techniques.
- Proficient computer skills and understanding of quality management systems.
- Attention to detail, accurate, and concise.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Written and verbal communication.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- GMP/ISO experience required.
- Must be able to work an 8-5 schedule
