Responsibilities:
You’ll have the opportunity to thrive among a collaborative and innovative team of designers and engineers of multiple disciplines to deliver a
variety of functions including Software technical support, QA/QC clash detection, assistance with the preparation of deliverables
You’ll help us engage with clients and subcontractors as you offer support for platforms such as NavisWorks, Revit and 3D systems for the
construction of our client’s advanced facilities
Working with the other members of our team, you'll provide technical support for our primary platforms, and oversee the implementation of
BIM on new projects
You’ll use your knowledge to ensure designers are producing clash free designs
Ensure that Milestone BIM Models adhere to all internal and client specific standards as outlined in BEP
Understand project workflows from design, estimation, construction administration and coordination, and fabrication
Providing BIM production support from project teams; including project model setup, primary discipline project work, and deliverable setup
Qualifications:
12 years of design experience in the AEC industry with a strong focus on BIM coordination and CAD/Revit design and coordination, 2 years
minimum experience BIM/CAD Manager role
Extensive knowledge of current BIM and CAD software (Revit/AutoCAD/Navis Works) And Clash detection, Tremble experience is a huge plus
Proficient in BIM processes
Ability to execute Electrical design and coordinate 3D model components including cable tray, lighting, panels and conduit
Proficient at Revit project setup, including but not limited to levels, borders and view setup
Skilled in pulling MTO (Material Takeoff) from various disciplines within Electrical or Revit models
Proficiency with editing software (Microsoft Word, Excel) and visualization software (Photoshop etc.)
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
Excellent organization and documentation skills
Be responsible for providing/sourcing Revit/CAD training through a combination of onsite, remote and/or online training courses – geared toward making most effective use of Revit for our internal team
Experience:
Ideal candidate must me local to Louisville area, there is no relocation for this position Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Technical or Associate’s degree in AEC or Building trades preferred or equivalent trade experience
- Proficiency with editing software (Microsoft Word, Excel) and visualization software (Photoshop etc.)

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
