Human Resources Generalist I

Position Summary: As an HR Generalist you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day service by supporting our HR Business Partners. Primary responsibilities will be to assist with a variety of HR functional areas which may include employee relations and investigations, HR policies and compliance, benefits administration, leave of absence processing, and general employment related questions and concerns.
Required Experience for Human Resources Generalist I:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-3 years of experience preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and complete projects timely and accurately.
- Strong computer skills required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred
Accountabilities:
- Demonstrates understanding of company culture and core standards.
- Assists in administering human resource policies and procedures.
- Collects and organizes HR data related to compensation, benefits, training, and recruiting.
- Resolves basic employee concerns with minimal oversight
- Prepares complex reports for team analysis
- Assists with resolving issues with the onboarding process
- Assists HR Business Partner with projects as needed

General Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Regular overnight travel is required, occasionally for 3 or more days of the week.
