Position Summary
The Equipment Washer/Shipping & Receiving will be responsible to maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness and ensure that general yard work is maintained.
Primary Accountabilities (Essential duties but not limited to)
· Inspect parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness by immersing objects in cleaning solutions or water, manually or using hoists.
· Scrub, scrape, pressure wash or spray machine parts, equipment, or vehicles, using scrapers, brushes, clothes, cleaners, disinfectants, insecticides, acid, abrasives, vacuums, or hoses.
· Clean and polish vehicle windows.
· Lubricate machinery, vehicles, or equipment or perform minor repairs or adjustments, using hand tools.
· Operate equipment as required.
· Maintain yard, wash bin and grounds, which may include, mowing, shoveling, cleaning, etc.
- Occasionally assist in material removal from dump truck.
- Assist with repairs as needed.
Receiving shipments and materials
In addition to the accountabilities listed above, individual may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrate ability to follow directions and be able to work safely independently
- Task trained to operate other equipment as needed ( i.e. loader, skytrak, bobcat, etc.)
- Able to use air/hand tools as needed
- Expected to shovel, use wheelbarrows, climb ladders
- Conduct and/or assist in minor repairs and/or plant repairs
- Demonstrate ability to communicate and interact with other team members in a positive manner
- Expected to be at work at scheduled start time
- Weekend work expected occasionally.
- Ability to conduct basic mathematics
- Able to work in a team environment and work flexible hours as designated by the Manager.

Education / Experience (an equivalent combination of education and experience required to successfully complete the primary accountabilities is indicated below)
Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Years of Experience: 6+ months preferred
Must have completed and signed task training form and demonstrated ability to operate the plant safely and productively.
Physical Requirements (Approximate time spent to be included in physical demands such as walking, or bending, specific lifting requirements (lbs.) and/or other requirements such as vision or hearing.
Most of the time spent standing and walking, in addition to using hands and fingers to handle or feel, able to climb to heights. Occasionally required to sit, walk, reach with arm and hands, balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. May be situations which require up to 50 pounds of lifting. Must be able to bend periodically. Must be able to see and hear.
