Timpl has partnered with one of the largest tier-1 automobile manufacturers to recruit a bilingual Korean Quality Assistant Manager. The details are as follows:
Major Function:
- Assist in maintaining the quality management system in compliance with ISO/TS 16949 requirements and customer specifications.
- Support in monitoring standards of the organization or quality processes.
- Aid in managing current process improvement and new process development initiatives.
- Assist in developing plans for annual internal and external QMS audit plans.
- Provide support in training internal auditors, department specialists, and team members.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in conducting and completing internal audits based on the annual internal audit schedule.
- Support in managing 2nd and 3rd party quality system audits.
- Provide supervision and guidance to department team members.
- Assist in managing financial information related to quality operations.
- Support quality innovation activities, including setting up goals and periodic monitoring.
- Contribute to the development of quality strategy planning.
- Assist in controlling failure costs, including internal failure costs, field claims, and customer downtime costs.
- Help in forecasting field quality issue trends.
- Support in the development of annual business plans, management reviews, and financial reports.
- Assist in reviewing and approving department documents.
- Aid in monitoring and resolving internal and external customer concerns.
- Contribute to the development of corrective action plans for customer claims.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Prerequisites for the Job:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in an engineering field and a minimum of 3 years of related field experience required.
- Five years of process improvement experience required.
- ISO/TS 16949 Internal Auditor certification required.
- Experience with SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plan, and fixture planning required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CAD required.
- Strong supervisory, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
- Capability to perform multitasks efficiently.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
