Job Summary:
Provides customer service, merchandising, and assistance with daily operations of our artWorks Studio and Gallery. artWorks, part of MRC's skill building program, sells artwork and related items created by adults with disabilities who are participants of our programming.
The ideal candidate will act as a key holder, opening and closing the store on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. They will also staff events inclusive of: Artisan Markets, Night Markets, Friday night Art Hop and other community events as required as well as cover vacations. One Saturday off per month, guaranteed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Promotion of a positive work environment.

Keyholder functions include closing registers, counting funds, and locking/ unlocking doors.

Availability will include varied weekly shifts including weekend, closing and peak hour shifts.

Completes other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

2-3 years' experience within a retail or customer service environment preferred.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to operate a computer keyboard at acceptable levels of quality and speed and other general office equipment as needed to perform the essential duties of the job.
- Physical ability to work standing for prolonged periods of time.

Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members to provide excellent customer service.

May occasionally require lifting up to 35 pounds.
