Qualifications: Illinois Nursing Licensure
Two (2) years hospice or home care experience
Two (2) years of supervisory experience (i.e. charge nurse)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Associates degree in nursing required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Monitors all Nursing and CNA staff to ensure that planning and delivery of quality, cost-effective hospice care is provided through scheduling efforts that reflect both high and low volume.
- Take on-call, as required.
- Spend at least two days weekly as a patient care provider.
Community Interaction:
- Help to maintain on-going physician, nursing home, and hospital relationships.
- Provides education to groups seeking information about hospice and the hospice philosophy.
