The Technology and Legal Executive assistant role is a crucial role within Neiman Marcus. This role supports the Chief Information Officer and Chief Legal Officer, along with some members of their leadership teams. In addition, this role serves as the coordinator for the Irving Ops Center. This position involves managing key calendars, coordinating meetings, handling administrative tasks and maintaining confidentiality while actively contributing to the organization’s success. This is a hybrid role, with two days in the office most weeks. However, that schedule will change from week to week based on organizational needs.
What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative support to Legal and Technology leaders
- Manage Legal and Technology department functions
- Prepare for key meetings, including material preparation and logistics
- Coordinate schedules and travel arrangements
- Assist with projects as assigned
- Take initiative in solving problems, getting tasks to completion
- Manage department expenses, filing expense reports and forecasting future expenses
- As site coordinator for the Irving Ops center, order and stock food and supplies. Assist with badge access and follow up on other tasks as needed for smooth operation of the Ops center
- Strong technical skills, especially in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint to efficiently handle administrative tasks and prepare high quality materials
- High level of customer service orientation, exceptional interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and external contacts
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Position requires the ability to communicate with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage calendars, meetings and administrative tasks efficiently
- Ability to anticipate questions and issues, with keen attention to detail
- Demonstrated tact, good judgement and experience in handling confidential information
- Strategic thinking, decision making capabilities and a problem solving mindset to address complex challenges. Candidates must be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Ideally, 5 to 10 years of previous experience in executive support
