Kwik Trip Inc. Is looking for a Construction Project Manager. This individual will work as part of Kwik Trip’s Store Engineering Department and be responsible for executing and managing the construction delivery process for new retail locations. The person’s primary responsibility will be development of project scope, bid process, contracting, construction administration, manage project budgets and schedules, and project closeout.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate handoff from Development team to initiate Construction Process
- Work closely with Project Management Assistants to track and approve contracts, invoices, and Change Orders
- Manage and Coordinate site meetings with Superintendent and Contractors
- Communication with Site Superintendent to ensure safety, erosion control, quality, timely completion of work.
- Initiate and manage relationships with current and new subcontractors
Qualifications: Associates degree in constructionor a related field with at least 3 years of relevant work experience; basic knowledge of commercial construction practices, estimating, scheduling, cost control, field supervision, client relationships, blueprint reading, DNR and OSHA Guidelines Other qualifications include:
- Accurate and detail oriented
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Project Management Software
- Exercise sound judgment within company guidelines
- Prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Work Schedule: 45 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday with some evening meetings and overnights. Flexibility in schedule; including 1/2 days on Fridays.
