TCI Transportation is offering a Manager Trainee Program that will provide you with the skills and experience you need to be a successful Transportation Manager for TCI.
You will have hands on training over a 6-month program. No experience, no problem!
As a Manager Trainee you will have the opportunity to grow and strengthen your transportation knowledge and work alongside our recruiting, safety, and maintenance department leaders.

Essential Duties Include:
- Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will support our business development effort.
- Travel to TCI locations 50 to 75% of the time.
- Flexibility on work schedules is required.
- Learn new software and TCI technology.
- Learn all aspects of account management for TCI.
- Travel to sites and manage accounts.
- Manage, track, and execute all assigned Company Projects and Company Startups assigned by the Ops Project Manager.
- At the completion of the training program, you will be fully versed in all TCI operations processes, procedures, DOT and company rules and regulations on Hours of Service.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience needed:
To be successful in this position you will be a quick learner, self-driven, disciplined, and thoughtful, natural with follow-up and follow-through, detail-oriented and being outside the office 50% of the time, traveling to all TCI locations. Most importantly you will have a genuine interest in transportation and learning supply chain management using the TCI method.
The ideal candidate for this position must be able to stay organized, multi-task and effectively manage their time. We are looking for an individual that is ambitious, eager to learn and willing to work hard toward their own career development.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or business management
- Familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Office.
- A high level of business ethics and confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail.

Compensation:
$23.00 per hour OT after 8 hours
