PT Administrative Assistant II (Generation Park)
Responsibilities:
- Welcome Desk duties: Triage student questions, sign students into the appropriate department for service and direct to the correct department.
- Assist the Admissions Office by signing in students at the front desk, which requires problem solving and great customer services skills.
- Answer phones and assist Admissions Advisors and Manager as needed.
- Pick up mail and distribute to appropriate departments.
- Image, clear and shred secure documents.
- File confidential student records.
- Keep forms stocked in all printers and copiers.
- Keep copy paper available in supply area.
- Issue ID cards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional organizational, clerical and customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of Banner and all aspects of student registration, records, and admissions preferred.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Required Education:
- High School graduate or equivalent (GED).
Preferred Education:
- Above requirement plus one (1) year of specialized or technical training beyond high school.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of office clerical or administrative support experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
- Basic skill level in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Preferred Experience:
- Above experience including one (1) or more years in a higher education environment.
Hourly Rate: $13.50
Salary Grade: CLERI
