Work with team members to prepare and distribute meals.
Follow all kitchen evaluated recipes as required by DOH.
Responsible for cleaning of food service areas, equipment, kitchen, storage area, and dining area.
Follow all food safety procedures outlined by NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene regarding time and temperatures, food storage and nutritional guidelines.
Assist in accepting food deliveries and storage of deliveries while adhering to all DOH regulations
Meet with supervisors on a regular basis to discuss food service
Assist in the monitoring of dining room during meals.
Other duties as assigned:
Prepare meals in the absence of the Cook #1.
Assist in the clean-up of all food service area when needed, this includes dish washing and trash removal.
