TITLE OF JOB: REGISTERED NURSE
Department: Nursing / Rehabilitation
Full Time / Part Time / PRN
Shift/Hours: Varies
To provide nursing care to patients with actual or potential needs. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Machines, Tools, Equipment, and Work Orders (Required to Operate):
All patient care equipment including, but not limited to, Hoyer lift, I.V. pumps, tube feeding pumps, etc.
- Prerequisite Preparation/Education/Professional Qualifications/Training
A. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN licensure from LSBN
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices and procedures, as well as legal implications.
- Must be able to function independently and direct day-to-day activities of the nursing staff.
- Must perform other duties as assigned.
- Worker Traits Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Bending and lifting.
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day with maximum work time being spent walking and standing.
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately.
- Ability to exhibit cheerfulness and patience.
- Job Relationships
- Supervisor: DON
- Subordinates: Nursing personnel on assigned nursing unit/shift.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour
