Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcomes everyone with an outgoing and professional attitude
- Exhibits behaviors that support client satisfaction goals; takes pride in detailed, attentive, and exceptional customer service
- Acquires and builds the store’s customer base while cultivating client relationships by creating meaningful and personalized connections and making each client interaction a seamless and memorable experience
- Communicates effectively with clients and staff members to answer questions and provide informative advice
- Ability to anticipate customer and store needs and make recommendations
- Offers expert knowledge to make suggestions that align with client preferences.
- Educates clients on events, deals, laws, policies, and services
- Provides forward thinking, out of the box solutions to unique store issues and customer complaints, escalating those issues and complaints to management when necessary
- Partners with others to provide the best client experience, sharing cannabis product knowledge to contribute to the strength and growth of the team
- Maintaining aesthetic according to the company’s brand, including music selection and daily cleanliness
- Participating and embracing a highly motivated team environment
- Self‐motivated; takes initiative to increase individual productivity
- Utilizes digital tools and social media to connect with clients, serve their needs, and follow up as necessary
- Correct cash handling and transaction processing
- Ensures the sales floor is properly stocked, and that the presence of the store is well maintained and effectively merchandised
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- 21 years or older
- Initiative 71 knowledge preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Basic math skills are necessary
- High attention to detail and is goal driven
- Consistently goes above and beyond to ensure business needs are met
- Actively creates a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration; maintains positive working relationships and supports teammates throughout the company
- Demonstrates extensive product knowledge and complies with Initiative 71 rules and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal skills – everyone you meet likes you
