Mayer Networks Inc. is currently accepting resumes for Windows Server Administrator. Local (Southern Illinois and surrounding area) candidates only.
The job:
Helping to maintain and manage servers across over 175 different different environments, all different shapes and sizes. Working directly with customers on server related issues. Assisting management with projects, deployments and migrations.
Required Knowledge/Skills:
Working knowledge of the various Windows Server operating systems and ability to setup, configure, and troubleshoot issues on said platform including:
Required Knowledge/Skills:
- 3+ years hands on server experience
- Expert troubleshooting skills
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2012 through 2022
- Knowledge of simple networking is a plus
- Proficient in TCP/IP, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, VSS, Backup and Virtualization, Remote Desktop Services, Hyper-V
- Team player with the ability to work in groups to accomplish a common goal
Desirables
- MCSA or MCSE or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL
- Microsoft High Availability Clustering, MPIO, iSCSI is a plus

Hourly position based on certifications, expertise and experience. Must be able to pass a background check due to the nature of the clients supported.
