VP, Talent Acquisition, Rewards, and Analytics
Reporting to: Chief People Officer
Direct reports: Sr. Director, Total Rewards and People Analytics; Director, Talent Acquisition
We are looking for a VP, Talent Acquisition, Rewards and Analytics to join our dynamic People & Culture team at Curriculum Associates, a Boston Business Journal Best Places to Work company 10 years running! In this new position, the VP, Talent Acquisition, Rewards and Analytics will lead the Talent Acquisition function, the Total Rewards function, and the People Systems and Analytics function. The right candidate will be skilled in building partnerships with business leaders to understand their functional strategy and plan, as well as creating a hiring and total rewards plan in support of the function. The candidate will also be well versed in identifying key metrics to drive success and enabling data driven talent decisions for the business. As a key leader for People & Culture, the candidate will contribute to driving the success of the department within CA.

The impact you’ll have:
Talent Acquisition

Lead CA’s top performing Talent Acquisition function and partner with CEO to continue to make CA the best recruiter in Ed Tech
-
Provide vision and leadership to ensure the development & execution of effective talent acquisition programs and practices in the US, India and Ireland

Oversee implementation of new and optimization of existing process and technology to improve and scale operations of the global TA function

Oversee TA team’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practices, processes and metrics

Partner with executives to plan and ensure Talent Acquisition is supporting their business objectives
-
Track metrics and leverage data to drive team performance and improve overall TA efficiency

Oversee overall Talent Brand work as run by CA’s Communications and TA Director

Keep abreast of competitor changes to understand when new talent may be coming on the market

Stay up to date on talent acquisition trends to identify and implement innovative practices

Oversee overall TA budget and vendors

Ensure legal hiring practices are being implemented

Identify, disrupt, and address potential unconscious bias at all stages of the search, selection, and hire processes with professional judgement, nuance and grace

Serve as point of connection between TA team and employee experience teams, including HRBPs, HR Shared Services, and L&D

Support CEO with ad hoc projects and searches as needed
Total Rewards

Lead CA’s global, best-in-class benefits and compensation team to continue to differentiate CA in its support of employees

Oversee the total rewards strategy in the US and globally in line with company values and market trends, ensuring equitable and competitive compensation and benefits programs in support of the strategy

Oversee the design and development of base pay, short- and long-term incentive programs, executive pay and disclosure, and consult on sales compensation programs

Prepare materials for quarterly board compensation committee

Propose new total rewards recommendations to the CEO and CPO, in line with trends and employee impact

Oversee overall budget and vendor relationships
People Analytics

Working closely with IT leadership, oversee Workday and other HR systems to ensure initiatives, modules, and features are prioritized and implemented for maximum business value

Oversee the building of a plan to increase the use of data analytics, identify opportunities for optimizing retention, employee performance, engagement, diversity, and management and leadership development
People & Culture Department Leadership

Contribute to CA’s People Strategy by driving key components that ensure we attract and retain top talent

In partnerships with the VP, Employee Experience, work on process and technology improvements to ensure the People & Culture department is working optimally in service of the business
Who we’re looking for:

Strong people manager with ability to coach and develop a diverse group of employees globally at various career levels

Proven system and process implementation experience and change management skills

Experience running global talent acquisition and total rewards teams

Understanding of total rewards philosophies, practices and models and how they are used to drive employee attraction and retention

Proven ability to consult with business leaders on establishing total rewards approaches that align to their business plans

Experience in using data to drive decision making and setting up KPIs that drive behavior for maximum impact

Efficiently function in a dynamic, fast pasted environment that is ambiguous and in a state of change due to company growth and technological advancement

Knowledge of employment laws that impact hiring, compensation, and employment practices

Executive level written, oral and presentation skills

Proven ability to work effectively with project teams and C-suite; Switch seamlessly between people and project manager throughout the day

Previous experience working in complex businesses that demonstrates an understanding of how to effectively manage/balance cultural and organizational dynamic nuances

Highest level of integrity and ability to keep information confidential

Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities

Experience with HCM and ATS systems; Workday experience preferred

15+ years of experience in leadership and consulting roles in the people space, some experience in education a plus
Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay Range – This role’s range is $149,500 - $275,500. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
