What to expect:
This is a 3 month Quality Inspector position, part-time with potential to be extended for longer. You will be part of a global inspection team assuring the quality of components and assemblies that this global aerospace leader is sourcing from one or more suppliers in this area. Once on the team, you will be deployed through SQA’s operations center based on client needs and each supplier’s production schedule.
What you’ll do:
You will be conducting visual inspections and paperwork verification at our client's supplier in Torrance, CA.
In-process and final source inspection of printed circuited board parts.
Read and interpret standard manufacturing drawings based on industry and commodity standards.
What you’ll need:
5+ years of hands-on inspection experience
Knowledge and hands-on experience working with various inspection tools and methods.
Experience with IPC-610 and PCBA is required.
Experience with Cables and harnesses and IPC-620 a plus.
Experience with GD&T, and precision measuring tools a plus.
Be able to read and interpret standard manufacturing drawings based on industry and commodity standards.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
Due to the nature of the products, US Citizenship is also a requirement, and background checks are required.
