We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Front Office Lead to join our thriving dermatology practice. As the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and vendors, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations in our front office. This position offers the opportunity to lead a team of receptionists and front office personnel and contribute to the overall success of our clinic.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Oversee and guide a team of front office staff, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism at all times.

Train new front office staff members and provide ongoing coaching to improve performance.

Greets patients and visitors warmly and ensure a positive experience from check in to check out.

Address patient concerns and resolve any issues that arise promptly and effectively.

Manage the scheduling of patient appointments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics by ensuring the collection of all necessary documentation for treatment and accurately collects and applies payments for services and products.

Answers the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent manner using proper telephone etiquette; directs calls as necessary.

Facilitates patient flow by notifying the clinical staff of patient arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff, checking patients in and out for their appointments.

Keeps office supplies adequately stocked by anticipating inventory needs and monitoring office equipment.

Learns new products and maintains an accurate inventory of all items.

Verifies patient health benefits with approved healthcare companies.

Sends out and receives medical records and referrals for patient care.

Keeps reception area clean and organized.

Works in a team environment to accomplish common tasks in a collegial manner.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education - This position requires a High School Degree or equivalent completion.
Experience – 1 -2 years of medical office preferred in a lead capacity.
Communication – Excellent oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively.
Work Style - Must be able to effectively manage and lead a team, work well independently and amongst the group—the ability to analyze and interpret information, ability to interact and decipher information telephonically and electronically.
