Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to market and educate the community about our organization's programs and services.
- Coordinate and conduct outreach activities to target populations, including community events, health fairs, and educational workshops.
- Collaborate with internal teams to collect and analyze data on outreach efforts, program participation, and community needs.
- Assist in the development of program materials, including brochures, flyers, and presentations.
- Provide administrative support for outreach initiatives, such as scheduling meetings, maintaining databases, and preparing reports.
- Collaborate with addiction counseling professionals to ensure effective outreach to individuals struggling with addiction.
- Contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives based on community needs and trends.
- Manage a team of volunteers involved in outreach activities.
- Stay up-to-date with public health trends and best practices in outreach strategies.
- Utilize social media platforms to promote our organization's programs and engage with the community.
- Represent our organization at public speaking engagements and community meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in public health, social work, or a related field.
- Proven experience in outreach coordination or a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of addiction counseling principles and program development is a plus.
- Proficient in data collection and analysis.
- Experience in volunteer management is preferred.
- Familiarity with social media management platforms is a plus.
- Ability to confidently speak in public settings.
