Started in 1908, Codell Construction Company has been a leader in the construction industry. Based out of Winchester, Kentucky we specialize in the construction management method performing projects throughout Kentucky and other surrounding states. We are seeking an experienced on-site Project Manager / Construction Manager for the Bardstown, KY Area. We are looking for candidates that have a proven record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and in a quality manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to work with all members of the project team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Be present on-site during work hours daily
· Manage and coordinate all contractors and suppliers on the project
· Collaborate daily with the Project Manager, Design Team, and Owner
· Obtain schedule milestones
· Ensure quality control
· Resolve issues as they arise and seek support from Project Manager as needed
· Prepare and maintain daily reports
· Process and document RFI’s, ASI’s, PR’s, Submittals, and other necessary documents
· Perform and document weekly meetings with contractors
· Ensure all work and paperwork is 100% complete at or before final completion date
Primary Job Requirements:
- Work directly with clients, design team, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Coordinate, schedule and supervise all construction activities
- Oversee, track and report the progress, as well as the quality of work on a daily basis
- Maintain the construction schedule
- Identify and solve problems daily
- Responsible for safe work practices
- Develop solutions for any special coordination issues with the client and/or the contractors.
- Manage a field document system for all construction documents including shop drawings, RFI’s, PR’s, ASI’s, and Daily Reports, etc.
- Review and coordinate drawings and submittals
- Schedule and manage contractor’s weekly and monthly jobsite coordination meetings
- Expedite the punch list process in preparation for project close out
- Travel statewide as necessary
Qualifications:
- Experience of at least 5 years as a full-charge supervisor in commercial, industrial and/or municipal construction
- Commercial/Industrial Construction Experience preferred
- Strong work ethic
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, (including Microsoft Office, scheduling software, etc.)
- Problem-solving skills
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction
