Accounting Manager
Fully Remote Role
An exciting opportunity to work for a leader in their industry dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to their clients. We are seeking a talented and experienced Accounting Manager to join a dynamic team and contribute to their continued success.
You will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in revenue accounting, lease accounting and inventory. CPA certification is required for this role and experience in the manufacturing or telecommunications industry would be preferred.
What You'll Do:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.

Manage different revenue accounting processes along with inventory based work.

Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.

Oversee the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive process improvements.

Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Qualifications:
-
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Industry experience in manufacturing or telecommunications is highly preferred.

Deep understanding of revenue, inventory and lease accounting.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles and regulations.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
