Working under the direction of the Director of Credentialing, the Credentialing Specialist will work directly with clients of PracticeWorx, leading a team to maintain credentialing files and process payer enrollments for the practitioners of each client.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience with provider enrollment. This opportunity is a Remote position.
Essential Functions:
- Manage the completion and submission of provider enrollment applications
- Perform tracking and follow-up to ensure provider numbers are established timely and linked to appropriate entity of Client
- Understand specific application requirements for each payer including pre-requisites, forms required, supporting documentation (DEA, license, CV, etc..) and regulations
- Maintain documentation and reporting regarding the enrollment process
- Retain records related to completed enrollment applications
- Work closely with Client and/or provider to expedite completion of forms and requirements including obtaining signatures, locating required documentations, etc…
- Maintain provider enrollment information within the credentialing database
- Ensure that all credentials files are current and complete pursuant to expiration date of medical license, board certification, professional liability insurance, DEA and other pertinent information as required by Client and Client’s third-party entities (facilities, payers, etc…)
- Process applications for providers for re-credentialing with facilities and/or payers
Requirements
- High School Graduate; and 5 plus years of provider enrollment experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Maintain high levels of organization while being extremely focused on details
- Capable of meeting time-sensitive deadlines for multiple tasks
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Capable of working independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
