Position Overview: The Manager of Information Technology is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the organization's IT functions, with a strong emphasis on security. This manager will ensure that the company's technology infrastructure is robust, secure, and strategically aligned with our overall business goals. The manager of IT will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive IT policies and systems to support secure and efficient operations, while also fostering innovation. This manager will be actively involved and lead a team of 3 individuals in administering the company's entire IT infrastructure. *HANDS ON ROLE*.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Supervision: Guide and oversee IT departments in the daily management of IT operations and project execution, including but not limited to, computing services, network infrastructure, datacenter infrastructure, telecommunications, software applications and development, and data integrity.
Security Oversight: Spearhead the development, implementation, and continuous refinement of security policies, protocols, and practices to protect the company's technology infrastructure and data from cyber threats.
Vendor and Contract Management: Maintain strong vendor relationships, managing contracts, licensing agreements, and negotiations to ensure favorable terms and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Skill Requirements:
1. Ability to manage concurrent projects
2. Willing to work extra hours when necessary
3. Experience with managing Windows Server 2016/2022
Implementing GPO
On premises Active Directory and Azure based Active Directory
Review of file permissions
4. Experience supporting IIS
5. Basic server and SAN management
6. Experience managing ethernet switches
7. Experience managing Cisco ASA firewalls

8. Knowledge of common internet protocols

9. Ability to manage multi domain name servers
10. Knowledge of network address translation (NAT)
11. Ability to transfer knowledge to other IT team members
12. Ability to formulate and write IT procedures
13. Strong analytical skills
14. Ability to evaluate and ensure compliance with industry requirements
GDPR
15. Familiar with penetration testing
16. Ability to communicate effectively with end users
17. Experience using and provisioning Microsoft 365
18. Ability to manage and refine vendor support agreements
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
· 10 years' work experience within IT field being hands on and leading teams
