As a Medical Assistant with us, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will have the freedom and responsibility to undertake a variety of tasks in this "boutique"-style office catering to people from all over the world, independently and as a team member. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely, and eventually, in a self-directed manner.
Responsibilities
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Update and file medical records
- Phlebotomy and taking of vital signs
- Check with patients and type up patient documents
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Handle patient payments
- Clean and maintain workspaces outside of standard provided housekeeping
Skills
- Fluency in conversational Spanish is a MUST!
- Attention to detail!
- Ability to self direct and manage an office as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent people communication skills and service oriented
- Degree in Medical Assistance or Phlebotomy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
