Established full service financial brokerage office seeking a permanent part-time administrative assistant.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Computer skills are a must.
- Experience with Word and Excel.
- Experience in financial services is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and together within a team.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer support in person, over the phone, or via email.
- Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role required.
Duties include:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, newsletters, reports, and other correspondences.
- Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
- Manage accounts and perform recordkeeping.
- Prepare and process paperwork for new and existing clients.
- Sort, file, and organize documents and paperwork
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
