This position also manages the Central Office.Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in Business Administration preferred.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee and student information.Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check (C.O.R.I.) and fingerprint check.Reports to: Superintendent of SchoolsDuties and Responsibilities: Manages the Central Office.Processes incoming mail; reviews and maintains appointment calendar; prepares correspondence and reports; and maintains files for Superintendent as directed. Processes registrations for the Superintendent, including various meetings/workshops as directed.Responsible for gathering all enrollment data for all students living in the district, where they attend school, and working with the Business Manager on the October 1 report.Coordinates and processes the Districts submission for three annual town reports.Completes the annual School Choice and District Sending Childrens Reports for the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.Ensure Title 1 letters are sent out to appropriate schools. Responsible for disseminating all school lunch applications to every family in the district, and enters all data into Nutrikids several times a year.
Additionally responsible for sending out all correspondence to families and working with the Business Manager when there is an audit by the State. Collaborates with the School Committee Chair to create a draft school calendar for approval by the School Committee.Works with the Superintendent and School Committee on district policies.Attends all School Committee meetings. Posts all meetings, prepares all packets, processes minutes, and keeps records on School Committee related matters. Works closely with the Superintendent and Chairman on all confidential matters.Handles all choice inquiries, resident issues, and intradistrict choice requests.
