Job description Pool Director Qualifications Certifications: Pool Operations (CPO), Lifeguard Certified (CPR/AED & First Aid) Availability from Memorial Day – Labor Day with fringe responsibilities such as hiring staff and opening and closing facility are required outside of the summer months Experience as Pool Director or assistant at a high-volume pool Responsibilities · Job Summary: The Pool Director is responsible for overseeing all operations of the aquatic’s facility which includes Olympic size swimming pool, kids pool, pool locker rooms, and lifeguard break room. This position will lead and be responsible for RCC day camp. · Supervises all staff including lifeguards and take the lead with Rockrimmon Day Camp · Will prioritize providing a premier member experience while maintaining a safe and clean pool environment · The pool facility is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day · Will keep the member experience as the top priority · Consults with General Manager, and other department heads to assure the highest level of member satisfaction · Develops interesting ways of promoting Club functions · Hires, supervises, and evaluates staff including, Lifeguards & camp counselors. · Provides necessary orientation and training · Formulates weekly schedules based on departmental budget · Purchases pool chemicals · Maintains proper chemical balance in pools · Communicates regularly with Club’s maintenance department regarding equipment maintenance · Develops and implements a pool safety and cleaning program · Manages pool area, including restrooms and changing rooms, for cleanliness · Maintains and keeps all necessary records concerning pool attendance, pool chemicals, accident reports, etc · Assists in opening and closing of pool in beginning and end of season · Supervises enforcement of pool rules and regulations; · Required to work/ guard if we are short lifeguards · Participate in Department Head and other meetings as required · Perform other duties as prescribed by management · In this role, your duties will include coordinating recreational activities with the Aquatics, Racquets, Golf and F&B Departments, ordering camp supplies, hiring and training camp employees · Your duties also include engaging with the membership and collecting feedback to constantly improve our summer camp program · Outstanding candidates prioritize the safety of all campers and ensure an excellent camp experience · Greeting members and campers for daily drop off, and ensuring all campers get picked up, · Planning daily camp activities and creating activity schedules · Hiring of camp counselors · Modifying activities for campers · Keeping records and documenting processes · Ability to hire, train, and oversee camp employees, as well as ensuring the campers' wellbeing · Welcome all club members · Be punctual and organized · Participate enthusiastically
· To ensure success, Camp Directors should have experience in developing camp curricula and demonstrate the ability to assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of a camp · Perform other duties as prescribed by management Job Type: Part-time Salary: From $1,200.00 per week Schedule:
