UCO of South Florida is currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to fulfill a full-time position within the Residential Program Support department.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
1. Complete quarterly building inspection report with MTN Supervisor
2. Complete Emergency light inspection monthly
3. Complete AmSafe inspection monthly
4. Complete interior and exterior touch up painting as scheduled
5. Assist with drop off and pick up of agency vehicles for repairs
6. Complete pick-ups and deliveries as requested by supervisor
7. Assist Floor Technician as requested
8. Complete special projects as requested/scheduled
9. Complete maintenance requests daily as assigned by MTN Supervisor
10. Complete monthly inspections of all vans
11. Complete driving tests as requested by Human Resources
12. Clear playgrounds and workshop patio of debris weekly
13. Clear front and rear exterior of debris weekly
14. Complete housekeeping supply inventory weekly
15. Complete monthly shampooing of all carpets
16. Receive and store housekeeping supplies weekly
17. Distribute housekeeping supplies daily to housekeepers
18. Assist Supervisor as requested
19. Complete all tasks in an accurate and timely manner
20. Meet with Supervisor and Department monthly
21. Ensure the Interior and Exterior of vans are cleared thoroughly;
a. Rinse exterior of van and wash using car wash supplies
b. Scrub tires and rims with brush
c. Rinse van with clean water (repeat if necessary)
d. Dry exterior of van with Armorall tires
e. Sweep or vacuum interior of van
f. Clean interior dash with Armorall
g. Clean windows with Windex
h. Clean floor with damp cloth
22. Communicate with appropriate staff on a daily basis
23. Report any problems that occur immediately to appropriate staff
24. Keep records daily and turn in to the supervisor monthly (daily checklist)
25. Complete fire extinguisher inspection monthly (building and vans)
26. Participate in Safety Committee meeting monthly
27. Complete all other tasks as requested by supervisor
Job Qualifications:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
