Summary:
The Membership Development Event Specialist is responsible for maintaining the promotional item supply room and storage units and for providing operational and administrative support for the department.
Qualifications & Education:
-
High School diploma required. Associates Degree preferred.

Requires 0-1 year of general work experience

Microsoft Excel, Point, and Word competency required

Valid NYS driver’s license required

Storage/ supply room experience preferred
-
May drive a company vehicle to local branches, partner locations and event sites

Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job
- Moderate analytical, problem-solving, planning, prioritization, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently while supporting team effort

Event planning and management, meeting scheduling and logistics, delivery management, inventory control, order tracking skills preferred
Job Duties:
-
Coordinates lead generating event logistics. Including SmartDesk ticket requests, promotional items and material distribution, delivery, set-up, breakdown, and return of activation items

Locates requested stock and maintains records of usage
-
Ensures incoming deliveries are accurate and stocks supply room with new goods
-
Verifies order forms, delivery requests, and approval forms for accuracy

Reports damages and discrepancies following applicable procedures
-
May deliver items to their destination upon request

Takes inventory and reports reorder needs
-
Keeps accurate inventory counts of supplies by managing the digital inventory system while also keeping a clean and organized storage space

Conducts monthly inventory counts of stored supplies and researches/resolves discrepancies

Assists the manager with monthly reporting, including Salesforce, inventory, and budget and expense reporting

Helps manage vendor relationships

Liaisons with vendors to coordinate day-to-day activities during events

Collaborates with other departments for event needs
-
Organizes, schedules, and books including pre and post event for lead generating events

Assists manager with internal events: (Leadership Summit, Golf Outing, Anniversary, etc.)

Assist in administering and executing strategic partnership programming initiatives

Responsible for the management of the Membership Development calendar

Assists with the implementation and execution of Membership Development Programs (brand ambassador, event process, event tiers, and new launch build outs, etc.)

Maintains good working relationships with vendors in the designated regions. (i.e., storage unit, delivery vendors, etc.)

Responsible for the booking travel, meeting rooms, automobile rental and other communications

Implement solutions that eliminate process gaps to enhance department and inventory efficiency

The good faith range for this position is $22.07 to $25.93 an hour. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
