Job Title: Medical Receptionist
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk in a medical setting.
Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or clinic setting
- Proficiency with <Epic> or similar electronic health record systems
- Knowledge of medical scheduling and office procedures
- Familiarity with <Dentrix> or <Eaglesoft> is a plus
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
