A large Mechanical Contracting Company with offices in Arkansas and Oklahoma is in search of a CAD Project Manager.
The CAD Project Manager is a leadership position, responsible for performing computer aided drafting and other assistance to CAD Manager as well as consult with managers, shop foreman and other field personnel as needed.
The successful candidate will have a proven work history in AutoCAD within the mechanical plumbing industry or a licensed plumber with a history working in the field and a desire to move to an office setting and willing to train in AutoCAD. Must be detail-orientated, good customer relations, problem solving, project management, and work well in a highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Create and edit drawings to meet specifications during actual construction utilizing CADmep and Navisworks.
Support and coordinate with prefabrication team and establish timelines as needed and approved by CAD Manager and Field Superintendent.
Assist CAD Manager with project tasks as assigned.
Perform database entry
Classify and file drawings.
Maintain a positive attitude with team unit as well as good public relations.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Ideal Candidate profile:
Journeyman Plumber License or greater and a minimum of 4 years plumbing experience.
Must have the ability to read construction drawings and construction documents.
Ability to work with blueprints, schematics, and sketches.
Computer knowledge and problem-solving skills a plus.
Knowledge of drafting and experience with AutoCAD, CADmep, Revit and Naviswork is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
