- Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operation of LCMS for toxicology confirmation testing
- Maintain strict HIPAA Compliance
- Run daily testing and perform data review
- Supervise all testing performance, corrective actions, and process improvement
- Perform instrument, validation, maintenance, and troubleshooting as directed by lab director
- Develop SOPs
- Maintain QA/QC records and programs
- Oversee laboratory personnel performance, training, and competence
- Self-Motivated and ability to motivate others, self-starter, with the ability work independently and effectively without constant guidance and supervision
- Minimum Preferred Profile:
- 6 months of LCMS certifying and releasing experience in a high-complexity setting, or HPLC, GC user experience preferred
- BS, MS, PhD Degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry or closely related field.
- BS with 5+ years’ experience or MS with 3+ years’ experience in a high-complexity setting lab
- Molecular testing and blood testing experience preferred but not required
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot instruments and routine lab equipment as needed to prevent errors and problems.
- Experience with method development and validation considered a plus.
- Prior supervisor experience is required.
- Experience with COLA/CLIA regulation is a must
