Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Advertising Manager, this position is responsible for leading all social and digital media marketing efforts such as, but not limited to, research, strategy and implementation of social media, digital media, mobile communications, and paid online advertising. The Social and Digital Media Specialist coordinates tactics and follows trends appealing to guests, media groups, brand standards and community relations movers and shakers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for building and curating content, as well as maintaining social platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X, plus new/emerging platforms.

Leads efforts of planning, development and implementation of social media strategies, content calendar, and tactical plans, ensuring that all social media messages, measurements and content are relevant to target audience and trends.

Conduct meetings with staff and/or team members to communicate and discuss potential content creation and areas of opportunity, upcoming events, etc.

Provide onsite presence for events, such as promotions, philanthropic/community efforts, celebrity appearances and more in support of content building and live social engagement.
- Establish and grow relationships with relevant influencers, such as bloggers, social media personalities, entertainers, etc.

Maintain monthly budget for all social support.

Execute paid social and oversee production, implementation, trafficking and performance of social campaigns, working alongside media buying agency and providing recommendations.

Schedule, manage and publish content while maintaining a consistent presence across all property digital channels: desktop sites, mobile sites, onsite digital LCD displays and signage (back of house, front of house, promotional Food & Beverage and more).

Assist and manage content creation process for web with design agency from beginning to end.

Assist media buying agency in the development of digital and online related campaigns, including coordination of creative and trafficking deliverables.

On an ongoing basis, analyze performance of all marketing activities and assess against goals to identify trends and insights, optimizing strategies and plans based on findings.

Support and serve as the liaison between all internal departments as it relates to social and digital media requests and efforts.

Direct and coordinate the execution of photography and video production.

Support Advertising Manager and other key marketing efforts and duties as assigned, including but not limited to direct mail, print materials, signage, traditional advertising mediums, etc.

At least 3 years direct marketing, advertising and brand marketing experience, including implementation of digital, mobile and emerging campaigns.

At least 3 years of social media/web 2.0 experience as an online marketer.

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, marketing, business administration, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Recent, hands-on knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google and Adobe analytics.

Extensive knowledge of social platform best practices.

Experience with content and publishing tools and such as Hootsuite, Canva and more.

Experience with the Adobe Suite applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign are not required but preferred.

Ability to effectively communicate in written/verbal formats. Bilingual preferred – Eng/Spa.

Ability to adapt to the style and tonality of the current “voice” of consumer facing media.

Ability to work well under deadlines and exercise a great deal of initiative, forward strategic thinking and independent judgement.

Technology savvy with solid understanding of the web, online market, and direct marketing.

Must consistently maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.

Ability to comfortably speak to the general public and/or group of individuals.

Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, as well as on the casino floor. The casino floor is a smoking environment with constant exposure to the general public and excessive noise.

Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and use ‘sense’ abilities; this includes walking, use of hands and arms, voice, and taste or smell.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-30 pounds.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements.
