Position Overview:
As a Finance Analyst in the Regional Finance department, you play a key role in supporting financial planning and analysis for a specific region, providing insights to drive project decisions and ensure financial health. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders you will be responsible for providing budget, forecast and variance analysis, conducting financial research, and developing financial projections for current and future projects.
This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently and a high level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis and Reporting: Provide budget, forecast, and variance analysis monthly.

Trend Analysis and Forecasting: Conduct financial research and analyze financial performance against objectives to determine emerging trends.

Database Management and Reporting: Create and maintain statistical/financial databases and generating reports from multiple systems

Project Financial Oversight: Develop and maintain financial projections, tracking actual performance against plans.

Ad Hoc Reporting and Analysis: Assist with ad hoc reporting or data management requests.

Dashboard Design and Maintenance: Design, program, document, and maintain reports and dashboards using data from multiple systems.

Project Closure Process Management: Complete the project closeout process for all completed projects, ensuring accurate financial wrap-up.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate and build strong relationships with all internal stakeholders and customers, including OSP, Indoor Plant, Engineering, Supply, Pricing and Costing and other departments as necessary.

Issue Monitoring and Resolution: Proactively apply analytical and research skills to monitor trends and elevate issues due to data variances.

Process Improvement and Documentation: Identify inefficiencies in processes and suggest enhancements, documenting suggestions, and presenting proposals to the team.

Ad Hoc Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as needed to support the dynamic needs of the regional finance department.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred.

CPA or CMA designation is a plus.

Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in financial analysis or related role, preferably in the telecom industry.

Advanced expertise in MS Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and index-match functions.

Hands-on experience with one or more major ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

Service industry or construction industry experience is strongly preferred, with telecommunications industry experience considered a plus.
